Plan a Marquee Wedding in the Mornington Peninsula

There is no doubt that we live in a beautiful part of the world here in Victoria. With so many national parks, wine regions and coastal scenery there isn’t a region in this state that I wouldn’t recommend for an engaged couple to get married in. I suppose its all about personal preference whether you want to have all your wedding guests stay the weekend or you would rather stay close to home.

There are a few really nice areas that we recommend if you wish to get away from your everyday life to celebrate your wedding. We regularly work in the Bellarine Peninsula and often we look across the bay to a stunning region called the Mornington Peninsula. The Mornington Peninsula is very popular for hens and bucks parties but we reckon its the perfect place to bring your family and friends to get away from it all for a wedding celebration.

Anyone who has been to the Mornington Peninsula would recognise it for diversity in venue. A historic country house like Glynt Manor in Mount Martha is a great option for a marquee wedding , perhaps a boutique winery with great food like Green Olive is right for you or have a garden wedding in Iris park surrounded by beautiful trees and nature. What we recommend is a marquee wedding overlooking a stunning backdrop. There are so many venues for a couple to place a marquee , a drive through the wine region would spark the imagination almost immediately and the wine will help too.
