Floristry, Styling, Marquee & Furniture Hire – A Stunning Elderberry Events Wedding at Barunah Plains

April 10, 2024

Inushi & Kusal were such a delight to work with when creating their incredible wedding day! From our first style meeting, they had a vision in mind that made us super excited. Collaborating with our Head Stylist, Inushi & Kusal combined our signature Marquee & Furniture; and Floristry & Styling packages to create this breathtaking event. Inspired by vintage French elegance with soft pastel colours of lilac, blue, cream, peach, and pink it was a delight to combine florals, pastel linens, and boutique furnishings to create this stunning look.

The Ceremony

The Ceremony was set upon the lush lawn beside the beautiful Barunah Plains homestead. Our florists chose a selection of garden-like florals to create a stunning ceremony arrangement upon the Poruwa structure. A stunning combination of hydrangea, delphinium, dahlias, and roses sat perfectly with a combination of maple, oak, and beech foliage. Our Parisian Dining Chairs set the tone for a romantic setting with guests shaded by Outdoor Market Umbrellas and Inushi & Kusal’s creative touch of vintage parasols.

Canape Hour

Set in the sunshine and beside the pool, Inushi & Kusal opted to include a curation of hire furniture for their guests to relax and mingle as the post-ceremony celebrations begin. The White Fold Down Service Bar was the perfect option for guests to be served a beverage; whilst a selection of Wine Barrels, White Bentwood Stools and Umbrellas created perfect areas for guests to mingle.

The Reception

Set under the Barn Marquee with the sailcloth top, Inushi & Kusal opted for our Lux Grand Style & Floral Dining Package to set the scene for their guests. Our Style Team worked on the perfect marquee layout which included our Farmhouse Dining Tables and Provincial Crossback Dining Chairs styled to perfection. Using a range of beautifully curated linens, our Oat Tablecloths, Runners, and French Blue Napkins dressed the tables. A curated collection of styling items including ceramics, glass candle holders, tealights, and dinner candles in a range of pastel colours ran down the length of each table. Arrangements of flowers continued the garden-like feel along each tablescape and a stunning floral backdrop was created behind the lovely couple as a focal piece of the bridal table. As the night progressed, our huge 10m x 10m timber-look Dance Floor was the place to be. Placed outside the marquee the stunning pair and their guests danced the night away with such style.
