Winter Wedding Styling

On the 28th of June 2019, Elderberry worked with two amazing client & friends Brett and Brad to help create their winter wedding vision at Waurn Ponds Hall, Geelong which is a Heritage style hall built in 1926. With a guest list of 150 friends and family this was a large cocktail style celebration filled with vintage elements, classic floral pieces & candles.

The brief was vintage elegance with a strong emphasis on great food & wine.

This wholesome winter wedding was surrounded by our fairy lights decorating the ceiling & an abundance of  mixed candles throughout the hall that created a beautiful rich ambiance.

We utilised vintage lounge suites, wine barrels & white bentwood stools to compliment this 20’s heritage halls wood floors & cream wood clad walls.

For the florals Elderberry utilised large dome shaped floral pieces in lush green, white & soft pink which were placed on top of each wine barrel. Roses, large disbuds, snapdragons & berry were combined to create the floral combination.

On the night itself all guests were greeted by a string quartet & a huge grazing platter. The bar catered to all tastes with international spirits and was places in front of our green wall backdrop.

The decor was kept pretty classic with white pillar candles placed in glass candle holders throughout the venue, classic wood pieces & greenery.
